Who We Are and What We Do
Sunnyside Gardens is a public garden and perennial nursery. In addition to our large and choice selection of perennial varieties, we offer select dwarf conifers, hardy boxwood and some special shrubs that we have found interesting. Our offering changes yearly, depending on what is new and promising and the experience we’ve had with what we’ve grown. Our shade plant selection is expanding, as is our shade. We seek out the unusual and hard to find. Perennial herbs are usually available, including several thymes.
Sunnyside maintains a large selection of peonies, hosta, and astilbe. We are constantly pushing the hardiness rating of many new varieties as they often haven’t been trialed in our area. We are quick to advise if there is a hardiness question.
