Sunnyside Gardens - A Gardener's Perennial Nursery -
Sunnyside Gardens offers choice perennials for the discerning gardener. Large English style display borders offer inspiring ideas. Our service is education oriented, we’ll share our secrets with you. We seek out the unusual, hard to find and best quality plants for your garden. You are welcome to picnic in sunny or shady nooks. Or, have Cream Tea in the garden, by appointment. Includes rich, fresh from the oven scones, local strawberry jam and delicious chantilly cream with accompanying pot of good English tea.
We are always growing, always changing, always creating something new to see.
Who We Are and What We Do
Sunnyside Gardens is a public garden and perennial nursery. In addition to our large and choice selection of perennial varieties, we offer select dwarf conifers, hardy boxwood and a few special shrubs that we have found interesting. Our offering changes yearly, depending on what is new and promising and the experience we’ve had with what we’ve grown. Our shade plant selection is expanding, as is our shade. Perennial herbs are usually available, including several thymes.
Sunnyside maintains a large selection of peonies, hosta, and astilbe. We are constantly pushing the hardiness rating of many new varieties as they often haven’t been trialed in our area. We are quick to advise if there is a hardiness question.
