[Kanzashi Giboshi] Low, dense mound of heart-shaped, green foliage. Gold fall color. Medium purple flowers, many scapes. Used often in breeding, it produces copious amounts of seeds.

Large mound of white-centered foliage, sport of ‘White Christmas’. Thin underside bloom, smooth texture, good substance. One of the best white centered hosta. Pale lavender flowers mid-July. Impressive plant. 1994. 25" tall by 63" wide.

Heavily corrugated, blue-green foliage with gold margins; heavily corrugated and thick substance; near white flowers on 30" scapes in July. 31' tall by 58" wide.

['Choko Nishiki'] A late emerging, reverse-variegated sport of Hosta montana 'Aureo-marginata'. Wedge shaped leaves are radiant yellow with dark green margins streaming towards the center. Center can lighten to parchment. Tightly clustered, lavender, funnel-shaped flowers appear on 24" scapes in midsummer. 14" tall by 24' wide.

A medium sized hosta. A mutation of 'Paul's Glory'. Leaves emerge all-green, then quickly develop a yellow center with a hint of orange and a green margin. As the season progresses, the leaf center fades to parchment white and the edge remains dark green. Pale lavender flowers are produced in midsummer. Purple flowers in mid-summer. 13" tall by 32" wide.

An outstanding Dick and Jane Ward into in 2002, a hybrid of ‘Pin Stripe’ and H. montana macrophylla. Sharp contrast between leaf margin and shiny dark green center gives a striking appearance. Lavender flowers in July on 3' scapes. 18" tall by 42" wide.

Formerly known as 'Abiqua Paradigm'; a sport of 'Abiqua Recluse'. Beautiful gold leaves with streaked, blue-green margins; variegation pattern intensifies later in the spring. Leaves are of good substance and corrugated, making them slug-resistant. Clusters of very pale lavender flowers appear on 24" scapes in midsummer. 1999 by Charles Purtymun. 20" tal by 36" wide.

Medium sized sport of 'Birchwood Parky's Gold' with medium green leaves with gold margins. An excellent grower that forms a neat, symmetrical mound. Covered with lavender flowers in the summer. 18" tall by 30" wide.

‘Pathfinder’ White center has many green speckles and a dark green margin, thick substance. Lavender flowers late July. A great white-centered sport of 'Francee' that shows excellent vigor for a white-centered plant; developed by Briggs Nursery. 16" tall by 36" wide.

Large mound of gold centered foliage, 10" long by 7" wide; 1/2" wide, dark green margin surrounding the center which changes from chartreuse in spring to creamy white by mid-summer; moderately corrugated; good substance. Pale lavender flowers open on scapes reaching 35" high; mid-July to early August. 25" tall by 55" wide.

Very glossy, dark green foliage with a wide, creamy yellow margin which turns white later in the season; pale purple flowers on 30" scapes in August. Rapid growth rate. A favorite here at Sunnyside. 17" tall by 42" wide.
