                                                      Hosta 'Royal Standard'
Clean, green, sparkling foliage in a lovely vase shape. Pure white, fragrant flowers mid August into September. The scent of arbutus, or Mayflowers at the other end of the growing season. Adaptable, vigorous. Originated at Wayside Gardens, it was the first patented hosta. Flowers not as large as the species (plantaginea), but more scapes produce the outstanding fragrance. A mass planting of these in the landscape will transport you to an olfactory heaven. Will tolerate a half day of sun, nicely if not too dry. 1986 24" tall by 30" wide. Mid-August.

                                                      Hosta 'Spilt Milk'
One of the most unique hostas ever introduced. This Hosta 'Tokudama' hybrid makes a stunning clump of blue-green cupped foliage. The foliage is highlighted by an unusual assortment of streaking and misting in the center of each leaf. This patterning is distinct from the typical unstable streaking found in variegated hostas. In late spring, the 4' wide clumps are topped with attractive, tall scapes of pure white flowers. Introduced in the last 1980's. 24" tall by 52" wide.
