                                                      Jovibarba hirta subsp. arenaria

Cool little plants are rosettes of pointed succulent green leaves, sometimes with a flush of purple/red resembling hen and chicks.  When rosettes get big enough, they produce babies on little stems extending all around the mother plant.  Individual rosettes reach only about 1/4" high and 3/4" wide - perfect for miniature gardens.   Easy to grow and divide.
Full sun.  Well drained soil.  Zone 4.
