About the plants
This is our second year to sell plants on line. It's an incongruous selection, but as a somewhat eccentric grower, that's to be expected. Some of these plants are new to Sunnyside, many are old favorites. A few we've finally found in the trade after years of searching and propagating slowly for sale here.
Shipping information
Maine law does not permit the shipping of containerized plants not grown under cover after July 1 unless they are barerooted. Since our plants are grown out of doors in the nursery, container plants will not be shipped after July 1. Only hosta will be shipped anytime during the growing season bareroot as they ship nicely anytime when barerooted.
Additionally, when summer temperatures are high across the country where plants may sit in uncooled trucks overnight, shipping will be discontinued until temperatures moderate.
